Our tailors handle the small jobs that keep clothes wearable: hems, seams, zips, buttons and taking a garment in or out. Most alterations start at a few dirhams, and the exact price depends on the piece and the work involved. What to know about tailoring & stitching
Bring the shoes you will wear
Trouser and dress hems depend entirely on heel height. Trying the garment on with the right shoes is the difference between a hem that hangs correctly and one that has to be redone.
What can and cannot be let out
A garment can only be widened by the seam allowance the maker left inside. Taking in is nearly always possible; letting out depends on how much fabric is folded into the seam.
Repairs before they grow
A split seam, a loose button shank or a zip that has started skipping is a quick job now and a much bigger one after another few wears.
Clean first, then alter
Some fabrics move slightly after their first proper clean, so on a garment that has never been cleaned it is worth doing that before the final fitting.

How much does an alteration cost?
Stitching and alterations start from AED 5; most work is AED 5 to 15. Larger jobs are quoted once we have seen the garment.
Do I need to come to the shop?
For anything that needs fitting, yes — Complex 3A, Jabal Ali Industrial First, open daily 08:00–23:00. Simple repairs can be sent with a pickup.
How long will my alteration take?
Standard turnaround is 24 hours at no extra charge. If you need it back the same day, that is +50 AED and we must collect before 12:00.
Can you clean and alter in one order?
Yes. Many customers combine dry cleaning with an alteration in the same drop-off — just tell us both when you hand the item over.
